On March 17 Chafin and I celebrated our 4 year Anniversary! We started out the evening with a visit to our favorite Indian resturaunt in Newmarket, The Lancer. It never disappoints. Since we did choose to make our speical day on the one and only St.Patricks Day, after dinner we met our 'real deal' Irish friends at The Wagon and Horses, a pub on High Street. They were all celebrating in true Irish style (basically, they were all drunk as hell dancing all over the place) - it also happened to be Guinness's 250th Birthday....Chafin tried to drink a Guinness for each year its been around...he got to 5...good try babe.
For our anniversary, Chafin outdid himself by surprising me with tickets to Siena, Italy this next weekend!!! We are both very excited to go, Chafin did such a great job! He has everything taken care of - plane tickets, hotel, and even booked us a cooking class to do together!!! Did I strike the jackpot or what?! I have wanted to go to Italy since we first arrived in England - it is going to be such a wonderful way to celebrate our 4th Anniversary together.
